About Annabel

Annabel Lee Bentley is a New York–based fashion stylist and freelance assistant who works bi-coastally between New York and Los Angeles. Her work centers on elevated, narrative-driven styling, guided by a refined editorial eye and a strong understanding of brand and image. She approaches fashion as both creative expression and strategic storytelling, shaping visual identities that feel intentional, culturally relevant, and distinctly personal.

She trained in Los Angeles under industry leaders including Karla Welch, Maeve Reilly, and Carlee Barrow. At Karla Welch Studio, she was promoted from intern to Third Styling Assistant. She later worked as First Assistant to Carlee Barrow, collaborating closely with the D’Amelio family. In this role, she managed the full styling process across red carpet, press, fashion month, commercial, and editorial projects—overseeing sample trafficking, executing fittings, dressing clients on-site, and coordinating with glam teams, publicists, and designers. She also supervised interns and supported studio operations and global showroom relationships.

In 2024, while working as a First Assistant, she launched her independent freelance styling practice. She now provides high-touch creative wardrobe direction for commercial and editorial campaigns, social content, and private clients, alongside bespoke image consulting and wardrobe development. Her work is relationship-driven and editorially informed, supported by strong connections with luxury houses, emerging designers, PR agencies, and vintage collectors worldwide.

She holds a BBA in Marketing from The College of William & Mary and completed fashion business studies at the London College of Fashion, bringing both creative vision and strategic discipline to every project she undertakes.
